First Academic Class of the 2026/2027 Academic Year
On October 1, 2026, during the first academic class of the new semester, we welcomed the newly enrolled students of the Department of International Trade and introduced them to the Jean Monnet Chair project. We presented the project’s objectives and its contribution to advancing knowledge and research on European economic integration.
Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of international trade in today’s interconnected world, where the exchange of goods, services, and ideas shapes economies, societies, and opportunities for growth. We also outlined the activities planned for the academic year, including lectures, workshops, and webinars, designed to deepen students’ understanding of the EU Internal Market and the role of international trade in sustainable development.
Students were encouraged to participate actively in discussions and contribute to the project’s initiatives, broadening their knowledge of European economic integration and the global trading system.
