In the period from 4 to 8 May 2026, Prof. Dr. Elena Makrevska Disoska and Prof. Dr. Katerina Toshevska‑Trpchevska undertook an academic visit to the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Rijeka, during which they carried out a range of teaching activities and participated in academic meetings.
During the visit, Prof. Dr. Elena Makrevska Disoska delivered lectures in both English and Croatian within the courses EU Economics, European Business Environment and EU Common Policies. Her lectures addressed key aspects of the European Union’s economic framework, institutional developments, and policy challenges, offering students comprehensive theoretical knowledge combined with practical perspectives on current European economic issues.
Prof. Dr. Katerina Toshevska‑Trpchevska delivered lectures in the field of Business Logistics in English, as well as Economics and International Trade Policy in both English and Croatian. Her teaching focused on logistics management, international trade dynamics, and economic policy instruments, with an emphasis on real‑world applications and interactive discussions with students.
In addition to the teaching activities, both professors took part in academic meetings with colleagues from the host institution. These meetings were aimed at exchanging academic experiences, discussing potential joint research initiatives, and exploring opportunities for further cooperation, including staff mobility and collaborative projects. The visit contributed to strengthening inter‑institutional ties and enhancing international academic collaboration between the participating institutions.
