Within the framework of the Jean Monnet Chair project
“Strengthening the Knowledge of the EU Internal Market – Widening the Perspectives of Candidate Countries”, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme – Jean Monnet Actions in Higher Education, a three-day study visit to Brussels, Belgium was successfully realized.
The delegation was led by Prof. Dr. Elena Makrevska Disoska, Head of the Jean Monnet Chair project, together with four students from the Faculty of Economics – Skopje: Mr. Radan Stanković, Mr. Ivan Trajkovski, Ms. Mila Parizova, and Mr. Igor Stojkov.

✅ Meeting with H.E. Ambassador Zulfi Ismaili at the Mission of the Republic of North Macedonia to the EU
✅ Meeting with NATO Deputy Secretary General Ms. Radmila Shekerinska and Chargé d’Affaires Mr. Ismail Ebipi at the Permanent delegation of North Macedonia to NATO
✅ Exchange with Mr. Frederick Swinnen, Political Desk Officer for North Macedonia, at the European Commission – DG for Enlargement and Neighbourhood Policy (DG ENEST)
✅ Meeting with Mr. Igor Miskulin, Desk Officer at the European Parliament, DG External Policies, Enlargement, Western Europe and Northern Cooperation Union
✅ Insightful visits to the European Commission, the European Parliament, and a guided tour of the Council of the European Union
💡 This study visit offered students first-hand insights into the functioning of EU institutions, fostered dialogue with EU and NATO officials, and strengthened their academic and professional perspectives on European integration.
