Prof. Elena Makrevska Disoska presented the research paper titled “Estimating the Impact of CO2 Emissions on Intra-EU Trade: A Gravity Model Assessment” (co-authored with Prof. Katerina Toshevska-Trpchevska) at the International Scientific Jean Monnet Conference 2024: Building a Sustainable EU Society for the Future. The event took place at the House of Europe in Zagreb, Croatia, on December 12–13, 2024.

The paper offered a detailed analysis of the relationship between environmental sustainability and trade dynamics within the EU, providing valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities of harmonizing trade policies with climate objectives.

The conference also served as an exceptional platform for networking among Jean Monnet project participants. Engaging debates, particularly on topics related to EU Enlargement, fostered in-depth discussions on current issues among attendees.
