About The Faculty

The Faculty of Economics at the “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” University in Skopje was founded on November 14, 1950, and has continuously fulfilled its primary educational, research, and professional roles ever since. It has significantly contributed to the development of high-quality professionals in the fields of economics and organizational sciences. Since its inception, the faculty has been recognized as a leading higher education institution, preparing graduates capable of addressing the challenges presented by the surrounding environment.

There is virtually no sector of socio-economic life in the country where the faculty is not represented, whether through its employees or its alumni—graduates, master’s, and PhD holders. From its founding until today, the faculty has been actively involved in all processes at the local, national, and international levels that are important for the socio-economic development of the country.

Over its seven decades of existence, the faculty has successfully navigated all challenges posed by its environment and has established itself as the most renowned and highly ranked higher education institution in the country, specializing in economics and business.
